Ray Tarnai here... Waking up at 3 AM to catch the early bird to Seattle is a great way to start this adventure. Although I am pleased to have a Nexus pass, my awesome companion (Jaclyn) does not, so we got to enjoy the company of other sleepy travelers in the queue for US Customs. And now here we are, enjoying an Americano and a h/c before the short first leg of our journey.
We should be arriving in Madrid just ahead of two other parties in our group, so we'll wait and take the Metro together into the grand city. Looking forward to finding some Wi-Fi to let you all know how it worked out.
